Same Chipset & diferents cpu supported?

Newer/more capable clock generator would be my guess. Err, think that's part I'm thinking of. Alcohol makes ya fuzzy. ;) Anyways, to put it simply, it may be same chipset, but ti's not same board, there's more to a board than just a chipset. So it supports different cpus becuase it's not the same.

Ops, yes, alcohol is present.
I want say... Xp... my mother board is kinetiz 7T with the same KT133, & my mobo don´t support the AthlonXP

There was a big issue with the KT133 chipsets. They were originally supposed to support both 100x2 and 133x2. I think only the KT133A supported a 133x2 FSB. Crashman would know best. :smile:

KT133 was supposed to support 100/133MHz bus clocks (200/266 CPU bus based on DDR numbers), but failed miserably and was derated to 100 only, just before release. KT133A was a fixed version of the KT133, which actually DID support both bus speeds. PCB 5.1 probably used the KT133A.
