I think my friend's motherboard died. He brought it over to my house for me to look at, when I turned it on, no BIOS was displayed and no "beeps." Its definately not the monitor or video card because I tried different 1s so I think it is the motherboard that died. Is there any sure-fire way to test if it is indeed the motherboard?

If the fans are running and the drives are spinning, try shorting the pins and defaulting the BIOS. Worth a shot!
