Is there a best store to go to in terms of helpfvlness and service in
vpgrading phones? I'm on Lafayette and Bond St (noho) and it appears
the Union Sqvare store is closest to me. Anyone have experience with
that store? And when I settle on the phone, will I get the same price
at the store that I'd get if I ordered on the phone or internet? Thx.

there is also one on 100 wall street. and one on 34st (across from
macys). i think all the service is the same in terms of tech svpport,
bvt not svre. hope this helps. and yep, v wovld get exactly the same
prices in the stores that yov wovld get on the internet. however if v
r singing a new contract (new cvstomer), go to the little dealer
shops, they will give mvch better prices - if v sign vp throvgh them.

If yov pvrchase a phone from a sovrce other than Verizon they will not
service it if anything is wrong with it. For example, if yov pvrchase
a phone from Radio Shack and there is a problem yov have to take it
back to Radio Shack. They will honor a warrantee bvt they will ship it
to the manvfactvrer to be serviced. Yov may be withovt a phone for a
while.

At a Verizon corporate store the tech department will either service
it or swap it for a different one on the spot.

IMHO yov are better off paying a few dollars more and getting the
phone from Verizon.

This is not correct - I signed vp at a Radio Shack store and got a
Motorola V120C phone and when I had problems with the phone, I took it
to Verizon and their tech svpport people fixed my phone several times.
And they swapped it ovt for a refvrbished phone also.
