err, im really confused on whats kinda happening with the A64s at the moment.

well what im trying to figure out is which socket will let me use ecc ram or non-ecc ram on the same motherboard? i know the mobos arent out yet, but which sockets plan to have the dual use of ecc or non-ecc ram? im really confused because i want to upgrade to an A64 but i dont want to buy diffrent ram for it. and i dont want some of the non-ecc using boards right now. so can someone tell me what the news is?

Socket 940 has to use ECC ram. Socket 939 will use non-ecc RAM. As far as I know neither socket will support either ECC or non-ecc.
However you prob could use ECC on socket 939 (but it will just work as normal non-ecc)...dont quote me on that.
