Good Canadian site to buy components?

Hi all,

I'm rebuilding my system for the first time in a few years, and I've since moved to Canada. Ordering from US sites is thus a big hassle, and any money I save is often eaten up by shipping and duties.

Can anyone recommend a good Canadian component site? Like a Canadian version of newegg?

TIA

The canadian version of newegg would probably be ncix but unlike newegg, they offer crappy prices, however they do have price match, but they don't match all.

anitec has very good price and semi-decent services.

then there are vibecomputers, atic, generic, ntcw, these are all locations in vancouver.

I'm also in Canada building a new computer. I'm in Ontario and although I'm a few hours away from Richmond Hill, there is a PCVillage outlet there (www.pcvillagecanada.com)and they seem to have many of the best prices I can find online. The shipping fees suck, so it's cheaper to just drive there (despite the gas prices!).

Other places I've checked out are canadacomputers.com and tigerdirect.ca. If you need to get stuff shipped because of your location, then go to tigerdirect. they ship FREE on sales over $200. I'm going to order a few things from there, but overall their prices are a little bit higher I think. free shipping might make up for that though. Good luck

Thanks for the info. I'm actually in Toronto, but didn't specify because I figured the cheapest place to get parts would probably be an online retailer who would ship wherever.

Anyway, thanks for the info. I'll check out your recommendations.

I found that when you shop a lot, you can find a PC store that have very good price near you. I actually searched a lot on the internet for good Canadian Online store and they basically don't have better price than a PS store near my job. The differences are +/- 5$ on most items, I will probably buy my next PC from them.

NOTE : If there a "native reserve" near you. YOu might find there a PC shop with very attractive price and no TAXES! HE HE HE!!! There is one near Montreal.
