Ok, I just installed Win XP Pro, and am trying to network it.. All other computers there can see me, but cant acess me because it says I have a password.. I never set a password, therefore there shouldnt be one, right? If so, can someone give me a suggestion on what it might be? Is there any way to view my password??

Wow, dumbest question ever... turns out I have to have something be shared on the computer.. I came from a windows 98 machine where you could access it without anything being shared.. Thanks for anyone who was going to respond! hahah

hi, do u have password for ur login username? if not please set one and then try to access from other computer using this login name and password. I think due to security issue, so xp always need password when u access from network.
