I was considering selling my current self-built gaming PC online and use the profits to make an even beefier one for myself or another one I could sell. Could someone give me an estimate of what my system is worth and would sell for online like craigslist or Ebay or something?

System:
CASE: Antec 1100
CPU: i5-3570k
CPU HEATSINK: Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO
MOBO: ASRock z77 Extreme4
GPU: ZOTAC GTX 670 AMP! Edition
RAM: G.SKILL 16gb (4x4gb) RAM
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1tb 7200rpm 6mb
SSD: 128 gb Vertex 4
PSU: OCZ FATAL1TY 750W

I wouldn't sell a complete system on eBay. You'll get a good bit more on craigslist. I think $800 is a fair price.

Parting out you'll sell it al in a heartbeat on here. Those are very indemand

wow, thats lower what what I hoped. I thought that built systems are worth more than the individual parts to save trouble and labor. Is that just not true once you get to the "enthusiast" PCs? i would have liked to make money or go even rather than loose that much

you dont make money on electronics, unless it is BNIB and it was given to you.
other than that, current retail minus 30-40% is fair market value.

your CPU and GPU will make the bulk of the sale, the rest is negociable.
and holding on to it for more, well itll just dwindle, as newer models come out, price
point falls.. unless it is a specialty something, its mass-market mainstream parts.
and they are swapping for newer standards..
this forum doesnt really sell full PCs. more the parts as others thend to upgrade and sell
the un-needed to defere the cost. usually all here already know how to build a PC.
