Hi,

My Epox 8K7A+ died. When I power up nothing happens, no video or hard drive action at all. The LED indicator is “FF”. I have tried the cmos jumper trick and also installed a new power supply. What else should I try? Is it dead?

Thx Dan

Acording to you manual FF means that the post has passed.
I would try to boot the machine with just a video card attached(no drives or any pci cards), Try a spare video card if you have one.
If it boots OK try rebooting after adding one more device until you find the device causing the problem.

I will live for ever,
Or die trying!

So what could be happening is that a bad video board or other would keep the computer from even booting anything past the board?
