Hello,
Since about a week and a half ago my computer lags every minute on the minute for about 2-4 seconds, In all games i play this happens. CS:S, WoW, and TF2. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me, i have a wireless router but my desktop is connected with an ethernet cable. From other forums i have read they say the problem is that the wifi is searching for new connections every minute which periodically makes you lag. I am no computer genius but is there a simple fix for this? Im not to intelligent when it comes to computers but here is my specs from what i've gathered:
Windows Vista Home Premium
Acer Aspire M1640
Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00 GHz
2.00GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
If you need any other information just ask. Thank you for your help
