Ps3 bluetooth speaker sound problem

I have a ps3 and i have just bought a bluetooth surround sound speaker i have made the blutooth connection...... which was painless! although the lights on the speaker are moving to show it recognises the sound but i cant hear anything, i have been on settings but when you go on to output volume the number is fadded and you cant change it. i know the speaker works as i have played music trough my laptop and mobile(both by bluetooth)
can any1 help
if you can help i am female and deff not the brightest spark little knowlage

I don't think you can output audio that way on the PS3; you can use otehr devices for Mic input/output, but I don't think the PS3 is capable of re-routing audio output.

For example, my Logitech G35 headset can be used as is for mic input/output, but I can't route the game audio to the headset via usb.

thanks for your reply i can stop faffing with it now, that a shame tho my sound quallity on the tv is bad suppose ill by a new tv..... thanks again
