Steam platform update not working

the steam platform update gets to about 48% and then freezes and then a few more minutes just shuts off steam completely. any one got any answers?? let me no.

Hi,

Similar problem. I tried suggestions that I found online such as uninstall/reinstall, turning off firewall and antivirus, reoving .blob file and update in safe mode with networking. Any assistance would be appreciated.

ok i found a sollution to get my steam working i changed the name of steam like change it to some random name then i tried the download about 3 more times and it worked fine and name im happily playing again XD
