It is so unimaginable slow so I feel like pee my pants!

People that claims the boards has been "faster"...well, what a sad joke.

Come on people! stand up for a good cause, look deep into your wallets and send all the money you can get to my bank account and I will...ehrm...transfer them to Tom & crew (This is just a "precaution" for *cough* Ehrmvibble *cough*)

Maybe so, but I´ve seen a couple of other forums with loads of posts and they
are slightly [being sarcastic here] faster than THGC.
Must be because they have´nt replaced the C64´s yet.

well now what i'm about to say, i'm not sure about, but the software here hold so much more post info than i ever seen in any other forum. and for every post you view, that info is displayed!

well that is the big part of the problem. and yes the more users online the harder the software has to look through all the posts.

Just scrap all the old posts, no one looks at them anyway...this is not
a forum for antiqvities (Ooh, tricky word...spelldoctor, please help) and such
stuff, a qestion that is dropped here will become a thing of the past within
a few days so why keep the old ones?

It´s better they just keep posts a week back or so and the rest they
store offline so people who badly needs to look at an old post
can request that one or something like that.
