HP 3400c. Anyone get it working in XP. WIA drivers??

Hi,

I have a 3400c

I know that the XP drivers frm hp work with an upgraded version of XP
(eg form 2000). But I can not get them to work with a *fresh* install
of XP. (sj652en.exe)

I have tried doing a 2000 driver install and then running up grade
patch but that dosent work either. Get the nomal 'fatal error' that
everyone reports. (sj565en then sj651mu upgrade)

3400c is supposed to work with XPs inbuilt WIA driver but thats a
mystry to me as well as it does not appear in the 'scanners and
comeras' 'add device' options.

Any ideas?
