I do not have a trackball mouse, but an optical one. So how do I clean the top - not the optical stuff - but where my hand is? Glass cleaner? Alcohol?
Thanks.

I just use anti-static dust cleaner for my mouse - works for me, so oh well.

I do not think a plain damp cloth woould do any harm to the mouse as long as the water does not seep into the gaps. I use a ball mouse Logitech and I have been doing that since like 3 years ago and the mouse still works fine.

I usualy just use a cloth with a little bit of water. Just enough to dampen the cloth. Works fine. If it is really bad or if I havn't done it for a long time I use some rubbing alcohol.
