I received an email from the Internet i Shop selling a computer with an AMD XP 2200 CPU and a HugeBee motherboard. The price was $399. When I checked out what they were putting in the system, I could not build it for what they were asking. Has anyone heard of a HugeBee motherboard or had experience with the Internet i Shop?
Hugebee has no website. Probably made by foxconn, a large maker of several computer parts. Dell uses several of their parts, but not motherboards. It's difficult to tell if the case and motherboard are proprietary. That simply refers to the fact that you will have to order replacement parts from the manufacturer. If that's the case, you might as well order a Dell. Many Dell customers are unhappy when they find out how difficult it is to upgrade their computers. Hugebee may be just as bad.
Thank you for your comment. I was hoping someone had experience with HugeBee computers whether + or -.
I just contacted Internet i Shop tech support and they said the manufacturer of the motherboard was Syntaxgroups.com In looking at the pictures of their motherboard, it looks like they are ATX board. Does anyone have experience with Syntax's motherboards?
