How many drives, partitions, and what do you use them for?

Me:

WD 800JB 80 gig drive in 2 partitions (until I get linux on there too)

C: is 25 gigs and holds windows and all my installed programs
D: is the balance, and holds all my data. I've got it set up like this:

/ftp for ftp stuff
/music for (duh) music
/DVD for temporary DVD .vob files and other DVD ripping stuff
/downloads for all of my downloaded files

I'm bored.

I gotta get linux running again. I think I may wait for mdk 9.0 though (it's in beta 1 right now). Mmmm gnome 2.0

im running SuSE 8.0 right now.....
haven't tried Gnome 2.0 yet, (didn't like previous versions of it)...for "serious" work, i use the light and fast Blackbox...but for everyday stuff, kde 3.0 works great, looking forward to upgrading to kde 3.1.

I was running SuSE 7.3 but couldn't get anything to install unless I used YaST2 (kinda sucks if you wanna compile your own stuff from source).

It gave me error messages which I didn't understand. I couldn't compile, install rpms, nothing...

2* Seagate Barracuda 4 20 GB RAID version drives in RAID 30GB used for C: and 10GB reserved for Linux (probably Debian)
15.3 GB Maxtor DiamondMax ATA66 7200 rpm drive 2 partitions (D and F)
6 GB Seagate Medialist ATA33 (G)

C:\ Win2k, apps, games.
D:\ Some less important apps, MP3s, Documents
F:\ Downloads... old games... less important apps
G:\ Backups... copy of Win2k and Win98 CDs

Due to the current economical depression it is forbidden to laugh at work.

Used to be a multi partition RAID 0 setup until 'boom' day a week or two ago.

Now it's 32GB & 8GB. Borrring.
