I looked over the motherboard review and saw that MSI's 865 did kinda bad, but I was wondering how MSI's 875 would hold up to standards.. was wondering if anyone knew of a review for it that would be worth reading.

thanks

Why don't you buy my old board and write your own review? Well, maybe that's not feasible. It's hard to write after you've SLIT BOTH WRISTS!

MSI 875P-NEO-FIS2R. The everything under the sun board! The Beta-Bios MSI sent me disables PAT and turns the 875 chipset into an 865. This allows me to run Mushkin P-4000 Enhanced. Quite the step up! I don't care if you buy MSI, ABIT, or GIGABYTE, the largest issues seem to be with the 875 chipset boards. The best memory I ever ran in that board was OCZ Performance. I gave it to my nephew and my world turned to sh1t!

Actually the older MSI 865PE-NEO-FIS2R did quite well. The new boards have all been re-designed due to God-knows-how-many issues. Most popped up when people tried to stick Prescotts in them. You want a good board for a Northwood, buy an IS7. You want an 875 board? One of the Mushkin techs runs an ASUS Deluxe and swears by it. That may be your best option.
