On the instrument checkride in FSX, how to intercept the 140 degree radial inbound? She always fails me after I complete the holding pattern. Do you stay on the 160 degree course after reaching PARKK, and after crossing the Seattle VOR, do you turn left to 140. Or do you turn left to 160 after PARKK and the intercept the 140 radial using your OBS?

At the end she will tell you land on ILS Runway 13R at Boeing Field/King Co Intl.

Thanks,
Alan

Okay. After crossing PARKK, the examiner will instruct you to turn to 160. When she says this, turn your OBS to 140, and fly at heading 160 until you intercept the 320 radial inbound (heading 140). Once you cross the VOR, turn your OBS to 320 (important) and stay on the 140 radial and heading for 1 minute. Then turn right to about 155 for 30 seconds, and then turn ALL The way around until you intercept the 140 radial inbound (heading 320). Then about .4 nautical miles away for SEA VOR, turn in standard rate turn (right turn) a full 180 degrees, and fly outbound for 1 minute, and then turn right a 180 degrees again, and fly the 140 radial inbound until you cross the VOR. Then that annoying examiner will give u further instructions :sol:

Hope this helps :)
