Hi,

I want to identify my Motherboard's target clock generator so that I can use SoftFSB to attempt overclock my machine, I just want to see what the threshold of this machine is just by increasing the FSB. I am aware of the instability that might result and aware of the heat issues and battery life issues.

This is purely a curiosity thing and I would be happy to share my results.

So if anyone can help then please do so.

The Laptop is an Acer Aspire 2023 WLMi with a centrino 1.6 GHz and 768 MB PC2700 RAM.

Thanks.

Doubtfull that SoftFSP, CPUFSB, etc, have the codes needed for ANY modern clock generators.

They are rather old programs, no longer supported by the maker.
