Direct draw hardware not found

whenever i try to open any game it opens up black screen and an error bok pops up and says direct draw harware not found

What video card do you have? Have you installed the correct drivers?

Usually, that means you either didn't install the correct drivers or else, your video card isn't capable of using Direct Draw.
