Does any know of any old motherboard review sites?

Yeah, there's prolly a gazillion. You can polly see P1 mobo reviews in the old articles here at Tom's, as well as at Anantech.

If you go to google and in type in "motherboards for Pentium 1" etc, you'll find some I think.

Probably better to look for "Socket 7 motherboards" or something like that. That encompasses the latter half of the P1 lifespan. If you want really old pentiums (60/66), then socket 6 is probably your search term of choice.

he might have Pentium Pro, which would go into socket 8

Pentium 60/66 was Socket 4.
