ok i am looking to get a new amd64 3000 but cant decide what mobo to get. i have been looking around and got some ideas to which mobos are good
i have read that the nforce3 chipset is better than the via k8t800 but would like to know if thats true and why/not?

ok not these are the motherboards i am concidering:
1) gigabyte "ga-k8ns pro"
2) epox "ep-8kda3j"
3) msi "k8n neo-fis2r"
4) msi "k8n neo-platinum"
5) abit "kv8 pro"

i am leaning toward the epox because its cheaper than the others and have herd good things about it, but i am still pretty much undecided as to what to get. i would like the board to be easily overclocked since i am not that expierienced in that.

any other suggestions as to other boards i have not listed would be much appreciated

Chaintech VNF3-250. If you want cheap, make sure it works good too!

That's true. But, the only thing hard to figure out is the RAID config since the drivers are buried on the CD. Everything else is pretty simple. Chaintech needs some site-work for sure!
