I so confused!! bfbc2 won't update!

for whatever reason, and i just figured this out, bfbc2 is locked on points. i have like 10,195 on assault, and even in the game TWICE i have gone from level 5 to level 6 and unlocked a new weapon and device, and then i exit the game, it says "updating stats" and then it reverts back to level 5 and 10,195 points. wtf???? i have reinstalled once, and it still does it. am i missing something here, what the heck is going on???

update online and see if that works if not it might be the disc
