DFI Lan Party Pro 874 B and RAM

I just built a system around this motherboard, and I put 2 gigs (512 x 4) of Geil Golden Dragon ram, and the system only reports 1.5 gigs of ram. I checked each chip in slot 1 and they registered OK, then I placed one chip in all four slots and it always registered regardless of slot, but when I place all four chips in the system, I still get report 1.5 gigs. Any clues? Thanks.

What power supply are you running and what does the 3.3v rail read when you add the extra memory. I had to pitch a 430 watt power supply because 2 X 512mb of Mushkin PC4000 dropped me to 3.18v when 2 X 512mb of OCZ ran at 3.23v. Can you imagine what 4 X 512mb of Mushkin would have dropped me to? Thanks for your reply. It turned out to be a BIOS setting, as apparently an AUTO setting in the advanced chipset configuration would not properly set the dual channel bus. It was kinda cryptic, the whole thing, but it's all there now.
