Photosmart 2710 memory card problem

I just got a all in one photosmart 2710. I have it connected wirelessly to a
dlink 624 router. The printer function works well with the 3 computers on my
existing network in the house. So does the scan function. What doesnt work
is the ablity to transfer images from memory cards back to the computer. The
printer can read the cards, edit them and print them out, but is unable to
transfer them to the computer. When I open up HP director, the status tab on
top will show that the 2710 is connected, but if you click on Transfer
images. It says its not connected. HP techs were clueless after 4 hours of
work. Any one have this problem? BTW - Its now not listed in windows
explorer after I did all the work with the tech. But I do see the
drive(drive z - memory cards) on my other computer but cant access it.
