Hey.. i was playing around with my old athlon600 and pentium2-400 machines, swapping drives, trying out longhorn, etc, and I had one machine sitting on top of the other (cases exposed) and was powering the old p2 up and having problems with it (first wouldn't detect IDE, then wouldn't post). I finally gave up and put it aside and tried powering up my athlon600 - but it was dead! I checked outlets, power cords, cables, etc, etc - but no power up! Could I have shorted the PSU/MOBO? How do I tell or remedy this?

Thanks

p.s. good thing it's old parts and not worht much..! ;-)
