I'm planning on building a new system with the Athlon 64 3000+ and I'm not sure which motherboard to get. I've been reading through the forum and I see a lot of people recommend the K8N NEO. So I was set on getting that until I came across a web site that ranked the K8T Neo-FIS2R as very good. I would appreciate it if anyone who knows both boards would give me some feedback. If it makes a difference, I would like to OC and I will be getting OCZ memory. Thanks in advance.
I'm used to working with MSI Mobo's and both boards you give up here are excellent. However, I would recommend the K8N NEO (go for the Platinum if you can get it). Not because of a big difference but I always liked the Nvidia chipsets better then the VIAs. Call it a personal preference or not but Nvidia somehow seems to be a wee bit more stable then the VIA chipsets.
Is it a bad thing if there is smoke coming out of my case?
