I was thinking of buying 925x chipset.but as i went to my vendor to ask for it. He says there are bugs in the motherboard from Intel

 IS THIS TRUE ?

.Though he said gigabyte and asus motherborad are good but not easily available and very costly...as i checked out the processor prices for 478 socket and 775 are same but the diffrence comes in motherboard, i m in delima whether to go for 925 chipset or not...i hope 925x will not end up as RDRAM motherboard from intel as soon i heard they r developing dual processor motherboard.....till now my safest bet is i875 chipset. The reason why i wanted to go for 925x was its PCI-ex  slot for graphics card but i checked out some bechmarks which shows there are not diffrence in results of AGP 8x and PCI-ex ..and moreover PCI-ex cards are not easily availble (Geforce 6800GT).....

i don't know what to do ?

The problem was with the ICH6 southbridge. Intel recalled all the defective chips.
If you want a stable board always go with Intel's own motherboards.
The Intel D925XCVLK board will be fine. Except it only supports 800MHz FSB P4 processors. When Intel releases 1066MHz FSB P4 processors the current revision of the Intel D925XCVLK will not support the higher clocked FSB processors. Chances are the board will work with the higher clocked FSB processors with BIOS update.
I have experienced this problem with Intel's D850 series motherboards.

I would have to go 939 over 775 at this point too. It looks like you will have a good selection of boards too.

offcourse my doubts are very clear about PCI ex ....as it has not much to give as of yet since there are not many application that can use the duplex 4GB/s bandwidth of it...so its just a run for few fps in gaming world....i will be happy with one of the most stable thing right now .....and will see what future has to offer ...
