A friend of mine had trouble with his asus board(P4R800) I think. His motherboard did not read his ram properly
512MB@400Mhz was read as 512Mb@333Mhz.
He sold his ram and found out that there was something wrong with his motherboard because it was not his only problem. He bought aGainward Gforce5900 XT and he had trouble with far cry.
We found out the board could only read that 512MB DDR400 if it only has chips on the one side and it reads it at DDR333 if it has chips on both sides.

The problem with the card was according to my frien was that there was something wrong with the drivers.

He returned his asus motherboard and bouht himself an Intel Bayfield motherboard and i think it is a sever board.
He is using it for a normal pc.
Does it make diffrence?
