Crysis 64 bit problem

my system specs are:
core i3 350m
ati radeon HD 5470 1gb
4gb ddr3 RAM
windows 7 64bit

the problem is that, the game is not running at all..
i installed the game and when i tried to run it..
all that appears is a black screen....
and the computer says that crysis has stopped working...
what should i do???
can patching the game help?????

i tried it at my friends place who has windows vista(32 bit)
it was working fine there...

please reply....
