I have a ? about FSB for A64 mb.

I see gigabyte has a 1600mhz FSB :eek: <A HREF="http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard/Products/ComparisonSheet_GA-K8NSNXP.htm" target="_new"><font color=red>GA-K8NSNXP</font color=red>
</A>
Does this mean that it can be OC'd to this fsb or is that a standard speed?
Any help or explanations would be great.

Thanks in advanced

When they talk about 1600mhz, they are talking HTT or hypertransport. This is the interconnect between the chip, and the north bridge. It actually only runs at 800mhz, but it does it bothe ways, so they double it (PRBS).

It has a 1600MHz FSB the way many highways have a 150MPH speed limit, they falsify the information by doubling it, based on the fact that it allows trafic to go full speed in both directions.
