Fallout 3 crashes while saving

Hello,

I'm sorta new here, and pretty limited to what sites I can get to. Gotta love being deployed.

But I just bought Fallout 3 GoTY and it's been crashing somewhat randomly when I try to save. Right now it's not been able to save.

I hear updating to a new patch could help, but I can't really get to those sites, so if anyone has any offline sugestions on how to fix it, I'd be really gratefull.

Edit: And I have no idea why my question posted twice...

Make sure if you have a firewall add the fallout exe on it (as an exclusion) and same with the anti virus(but not anti virus).
