[SOLVED] New Trojan

Does anyone know about the new Trojan virus going around now? Any new security measures need to be taken? thanks

If you mean the one that has recently been mis-reported by the press, It generally poses as a Flash installer, requires administrator permission to install (like all software), it attempts to disable OSX built-in anti-malware updates (by deleting configuration files), and opens/allows remote control; as long as you have your built-in anti-malware switched on (the one between the ears) you're safe.

Looks like it's also posing as an update for Flash, this is one of the reasons I won't install Flash Player on any machine.

I have flash installed on my mbp from their website months ago. So far no problem happening to me.
