What type of RAM does this board take? I thought it was PC3200 400MHz DDR, but now I've seen PC2 - DDR2 3200 RAM at crucial.

One is 184 pin, the other 240 - how do I know which one I need? Is this even the right type of RAM for this board or am I totally out?

AMD does not yet use ddr2.

So that's kinda the fast answer.
They can utilize with EASE (no pushing needed) 1000 fsb on the memory on all 939 boards. Thats nice eh? so for that, get ballistix pc4000 ram. worth the price and if you put it to a lower clock speed, you can up the timing's then with stabilty.

Actually, that would be drop the timings...to up the performance
