I've researched a lot of cell phones and wanted people to know about
the problems I've had with the Samsung A670 cell phone. I returned it
today because it is very difficult to use, especially managing your
contact list. I've instead exchanged it for the LG VX6000 which is a
lot better.
I can't go into every little problem, but here's one. The A670 phone
will not accept a duplicate phone number. For example, if you have
several people who work at the same place, you can only enter that
work number once in your phonebook. So if you're calling John at ABC
Company and you have his work number in there and you want to add
Jane's info and she works at the same place, you can't enter in the
same phone number. You can enter Jane's cellphone number, but not her
work number. Of course, then you have to remember that John works
there too and you need to toggle to his info. Not good for a
businesswoman like me who has to juggle several contacts.
There's a lot of extra steps that need to be done with the A670. The
VX6000 is logical and user-friendly. The A670 screen is impossible to
read if you're in your vehicle a lot with sun glare. I like the rings
on the VX6000 better too.
These reviews have been so helpful in replacing my Samsung that I
wanted to share.
