First of all sorry for my english i'm Spanish.

Today I've gone to buy a new pc and I wanted a AMD 64 3200+ but the employer says to me that its possible to put it in a motherboard with socket 939 and the unique problem is that will not work at 100% but more than putting on a motherboard with socket 754, and in the future i can change the CPU for an 3800+ etc. When the prices will be cheaper.

Is that true???

Anyway, wich motherboard do you buy for an AMD 64 3200+?

A64 3200+ requires an S754 board. An S939 board will not work.

An S754 NForce3 250 board will be your best option.

My personal favorites are DFI (*especially* if you want to overclock), ASUS, and Abit. Abit doesn't have an NF3 board, however. So DFI if you want to OC and tweak a lot or ASUS for just overall great performance.
