Cannot access nano suit controls in Crysis.

I booted up Crysis, only to discover that I am utterly unable to access my suit controls. It is bound to mouse3 (default) but when I press it, nothing happens! When I bind it to another key and press it, nothing happens!

What gives?

Also, I can only boot up the game by pressing the "play" option in the menu which pops up after putting in the Crysis game disk. If I try starting up the game in programs, or the quicklaunch icon in desktop, it says "cannot find game DLL".

Also, does making a new shortcut from the .exe get it working?

It may be that you need to reinstall as files may be corrupt.

I reinstalled the game, and now I cannot get it to work AT ALL!

Yes, sometimes it says "failed to load game DLL" while other times I click on the icon, wait about a minute, and nothing happens.

Well if reinstalling didn't work I am not sure as that should have taken care of any problems.

What happens if you go into the folder the exe is in and double click that?

Is it running in compatability mode, that can sometimes cause problems rather than solve them, right click the exe and check if it is.

Also, are you running any active security software?
