Need help with my new acer aspire one sound

My Acer Aspire One netbook recently started humming, rather loud. At first it was just when I switched songs. It wouldnt stop unless I switched to another song or clicked play on a game. Now it does it out of the blue, never know when it is going to do it. Any suggestions?
