Need help with my new acer aspire one sound

Hello,
My Acer Aspire One netbook recently started humming, rather loud. At first it was just when I switched songs. It wouldnt stop unless I switched to another song or clicked play on a game. Now it does it out of the blue, never know when it is going to do it. Any suggestions?

Humming? Is it humming out of the speakers or is it a hum from somewhere within the laptop? If it is coming from the speakers, try updating the sound card drivers via Acer's support site and see if that gets it to stop.
