Hoi rules for vichy france

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what happens when Vichy France is triggered and there are German units engaged with British units inside its territory.
Are the Germans supposed to disengage and withdraw, leaving the British to evacuate?

What I mean is: how long do the German and British units have to exit Vichy territory? What happens if both continue fighting and neither leave?

Sorry, I was under the mistaken impression that this was a HOI forum (Hearts of Iron - a PC game)
