I want to upgrade my comp soon, im hopefully gonna get a FX53 (or FX55) and a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum mobo. Im struggling to decide what RAM i want for the mobo. It says it supports PC3200 RAM, so why are there all these faster RAMs out there like PC4000 and PC5000. Whats the fastest 184 DDR RAM that can work with these sorts of motherboards, or is it worth looking at DDR2 RAM and motherboards?
thanks

Crucial Ballistix PC3200 will run at DDR-500 speeds with low latencies. It will do anything you ask of it.

Faster RAM is for overclocking. PC4000 is PC3200 garunteed to overclock to DDR500 from the stock speed of DDR400.
