Would some of ya'll do me a small favor and list some of your chipset temps so I can get an idea if mine are okay. I have an A7N8X w/NFORCE2 U400 and startin about a month ago they seem to rise 1 degree a week. So about 4 weeks ago idle was 29c then week later 30c... till this week 34c I havent changed anything so kinda weird. Ohhh yeah, I do have my 2500m overclocked to 173 * 12.5 so I know my chipset temps might be a little higher than a normal guys system, but the sudden rise has me a teeny bit worried. And one more question, I am debating on buying some pc3200, currently 2700, so I can run my 2500m at 200 * 12.5, do you think I would notice the diff enough to justify the extra money?

the outside temp. been rising?

My Case temps were about 28C in winter, but in the summer they rose to nearly 40C on some really hot days. since I added an extra intake fan they're around 30 ish now, although the ambient temp isn't too high ATM.

My rig is also quite overclocked (in fact I had to replace the NB cooler to get beyond 196FSB), so it's a fairly good comparison in that respect.

I don't know if I'd spend the money, have you tried higher multipliers yet?

NF7 v2.0 w/NFORCE2 U400
varies from 27C to 35C
depending on cpu speed (fsb/multiplier) and ambient temperature
Currently at 32C, with 166x13 (2700+) and 24C ambient temp

No thats my prob crash, I cant seem to get past 12.5 with my mobo and I have read many posts that said that is a problem for my mobo. I cant seem to find a clear-cut answer on how to unlock the higher multipliers, I flashed BIOS and that did absolutely nothin man. I have heard about some software that allows you to do that through windows but I cant find that particular program, you got any info on that perhaps?
Ohhh, and I did go out and buy a TT volcano 12 and I must say the noise does suck, but I really like the temps I get with it.

P.S. Thanx Crash, you da man!
