Fallout 3 on hyperspeed

After installing 480gtx for 3D Ive found fo3 runs far too fast (everyone runs around like they were high on ultra-jet) , Ive tried underclocking my card & cpu both but had no luck there. btw it seems to run fine in 3d mode but Id rather not be forced to only play this way. Much thanks for any help with this.

try turning vsync on

This does seem to have something to do with the 120 hz monitor, this is not a problem with my 60hz monitor & Ive tried even forcing vsync on but no improvement.

IDk if this will work but in the console you can type the cheat Set game speed- "set timescale to [number]"
perhaps this will shlow down your game
