Asus MB A7v8x-x
AMD 2500+ CPU
Crucial 256 PC 2700 ram
Powmax 400 watt PS/case

Built my first PC here a couple months ago, everything was up and running fine. Sometime Friday night, early Saturday morning my PC crashed. Was going to get on it Saturday morning, it wouldn't respond, noticed the light on the front of the case was on, but not running. I open the case and the light on the MB was on and hit the power button, the fans came on for a split sec, then nothing. I have unplugged everything but the PS connecter to the MB, CPU/heatsink/fan, still nothing. I think it's the MB, but how do I find out for sure??

I'd look at the psu first. I and many others have had bad experience with those. See if you can hold of another psu to test with.

Mobile XP 2600+ (11X200)
Abit NF7-S v 2.0
Maxtor 60GB ATA 133 7200RPM
512MB Corsair Twinx 3200LL
BBA 9800 Pro
Enermax Noisetaker 420 watts
Win2K sp4

Yeah, I'll check it out tonight. I just now that I can take the PSU out of my old PC (200 or 250W) and see if it will boot. Not going to let it run, but at least see if it will come up.
