Best MoBo 754 for Red Hat Linux

I am looking to build out a new computer. I intend to dual boot WinXP Pro and Linux (RH Fedora). Are there any MB that are better/worse for this? VIA/NVidia/SIS chipset issues? The intent is to use AMD64 3000/3200+ processor with memory to match board requirements. I prefer a board that supports SATA Raid-0 (at least).

Nvidia usually gives good linux.
The Asus K8N-E Deluxe has raid 0, 1, 5 .
