from via to nVidia raid - can I use my disks???

Had Abit KV8-Max3 using via raid (raid-0) but have switched mb to MSI KV8N using nVidia raid. Will the MSI mb find my disks AND raid? That is will I loose my information on the disks or not...

As far as I'm aware, no. I think you have to use a controller with the same RAID chipset, which in this case you aren't.

It's not really my field, but I'm 90% certain this is the case.
