Hi.

I have built a new system with an Asus P5GD2-deluxe board.

On starting up for the first time I'm having trouble with the BIOS.

It does an IDE scan and detects the 3 devices I have installed (2 HDD + 1 CD-RW).

Then in the BIOS setup an "IDE devices not detected" result appears.

What is the problem and how should I resolve it?

Your advice would be much appreciated.

TC.

Your board has a third party controller soldered in, right? Go into BIOS and disable that.
