Well it seems as though the dimwit in Hollywood who wrote the DOOM
screenplay took it upon his stupid self to change one of THE KEY
elements of DOOM mythology and NOT have the DOOM movie take place on
Mars but on "an alien planet". And it only vaguely hints the demons 'n
stuff are from Hell. And the DOOM guys friggin' sister is gonna be in
the movie! There are NO CHICKS in DOOM!! I can't wait to see what else
they f up!!
I'm almost afraid to look forward to this movie because based on their
track record of writing lately it'll probably be lame.
DOOM without Mars is like pizza without cheese. WTF is wrong with those
asswipes!? I wonder if maybe the Imps in the movie will have soft fuzzy
tails! Maybe the flying babies will look like the fuggin' teletubbies!

you really thought so? I thought the first one was unwatchable it was so
bad. I haven't even thought of trying to watch the second one ;op

btw, never played any of the tomb raider games, so I don't know how well
they stuck to the proper storyline.

But would you *PAY* to watch it? That's every film makers concern :)

Some in alt.games.tombraider that (like me) have played all the TR games
and bonus levels; felt that they butchered the 'real' Lara Croft story.
Though, the tombraiding and action was deffo Lara. As was her being a
British Lady. They were fun, in a parallel universe sort of way :) I
don't know what folks are expecting when they watch a film like this,
but I'm expecting a lavish roller coaster ride. That's what I got.
McG.
HERO....will see THAT one tomorrow lunch time ))
