Killing Floor Menu Issue

I just bought Killing Floor on Steam. When I get to the menu screen there is no text, everything on the menu is invisible I can click on them but i don't know what they are because there is no text. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

uhh what's your specs becuase this has happened to me with other games before on my old computer like brothers in arms where all i could see was a black screen but could hear the music i later found out that it was my graphics card
