Hey guys,
I'm just putting together a new system. The generic ThermalTake power supply that came with my new case has a 20-pin output to the motherboard, but my motherboard (an Asus P5GDC-V Deluxe) has a 24-pin input. I can plug the PSU into the mobo using the bottom 20 pins, leaving the 4 pins at the top. Is this a safe connection? If not, what can I do to plug the PSU into my motherboard?
Thanks.
