nForce 3 installation

I couldn't find a guide on the nVidia site. When you update nVidia display drivers you uninstall the previous, then run the new ones after changing the display driver to VGA. I was wondering if I can just run the newest nForce 3 package to update the motherboard drivers. I am assuming uninstalling them first as with the graphics cards would cause some problems. Am I correct?

I've installed newer nForce drivers over older versions without any problems.

I did that with nForce(1) and nForce2. Haven't used nForce3 mobos, but since the driver package is seem, you may not have trouble.

If you are going from nforce2 to nforce3, on xp, it is better to uninstall all mobo drivers before powering down to change boards.
